Images and documents from the Tarrant County College District Heritage Room Collections. These images were donated to the Heritage Room by Mosier Valley families in order to share their stories and preserve the history of the unique community.

The Lakeview Gallery is open Mon - Sat 8:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
There will be a reception for the artist on Sat, February 2, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Refreshments will be served and there will be a talk with the artist.
|11:00 AM - 4:00 PM ||Kids Vision Fest 2013
In an effort to eliminate poor vision and its lifelong consequences, The Alcon Foundation, Essilor Vision Foundation and the Kids Vision for Life - Tarrant County Coalition will host Kids Vision Fest 2013 on Friday, February 1, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., at Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus located at 300 Trinity Campus Circle (formerly 300 RadioShack Circle) in Fort Worth.
Free and open to the public, the event will offer free vision screenings to all children. However, free eye exams and glasses will be provided ONLY to children ages 5 – 12 who qualify based on the 2012 Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Tarrant County leaders will also gather at 10 a.m. in the Energy Auditorium for a roundtable forum to discuss children’s vision care and its long-term impact on education, society and economy.
IMPORTANT: Students who bring vision referrals from school nurses will be given priority on a first-come, first-served basis.
Organizations bringing groups of children are strongly encouraged to schedule appointments. Organizations that book in advance will be scheduled beginning at 9 a.m. before the doors open to the public.

Year of the Snake. Come learn about the Lunar New Year. There will be an Origami Exhibit. Enjoy treats and refreshments with students.
|2:30 PM - 3:30 PM ||Zumba
Zumba is a dance fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance to make exercise fun. TCCNE Health Services is sponsoring 16 classes on Mondays and Fridays between Jan 18th and Mar 25th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in NSTU Center Corner - Room 1615A.
Monday class dates are Jan 28th, Feb 4th, Feb 11th, Feb 18th, Feb 25th, Mar 4th, Mar 18th and Mar 25th.
Friday class dates are Jan 18th, Jan 25th, Feb 1st, Feb 8th, Feb 15th, Feb 22nd, Mar 1st and Mar 8th.
These free classes presented by Maryuri Miranda and Suhayla Sabir of John Peter Smith Health Network are a part of the Shape Up TCC-NE employee Wellness Program. All students, faculty and staff members are welcome to attend all or part of each class. Registration is not required, just complete sign in sheet at the beginning of each class.
