Comic CONtemplation: Race, Culture and Superheroes from Batman to Black Panther /Movie Night “Black Panther”

People of color are underrepresented in the comic book/superhero world.  This presentation will examine the progression of superheroes and the role race has to the development of these iconic figures and the audiences who love them.  Followed by a short panel and/or Q&A session.  After the presentation, there is an opportunity to enjoy the movie “Black Panther” at the AMC Classic Fort Worth 14  starting at 3:30 p.m.
