The Tarrant County College chapter of the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) would like to invite you to the ELEVATE speaker series during the 2021-2022 academic year. This speaker series will gather TCC students and employees and will consist of talks aimed to elevate us all educationally, culturally, and/or personally.

Our next presentation will be on Friday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m. via MS TEAMS and we are happy to host Carlos Rovelo, Instructor of History and Government.

Professor Carlos Rovelo knew the United States as a land of opportunity. However, he could never have imagined the good fortune that awaited him, and that he would one day become acquainted with an important leader in the history of his adopted nation—former President George W. Bush. In this presentation, Professor Rovelo will discuss how your respective paths today lead not only to tomorrow’s destination but also chart the directions for the next generation.
