It has been 50 years since Neil Armstrong first stepped on to the lunar surface. Join us as we commemorate this event by describing how events at the end of WWII influenced the space program, the early history of manned space flight, the men of the Apollo 11 mission and the events that led to safely landing an astronaut on the moon.
