TCC celebrates Arbor Day as part of our recognition as a Tree Campus. This year marks the 150th anniversary of National Arbor Day.  TCC Southeast has been recognized as a Tree Campus since 2009, a national program launched by the Arbor Day Foundation, joining more than 140 American colleges and universities.  To be considered a Tree Campus Higher Education Status, colleges and universities need to have a campus Tree Advisory Committee, a Tree Care Plan, an annual Arbor Day observance, and meet several other criteria.  This year, 250 trees will be given out to attendee’s compliments of Bartlett Tree Experts.

At noon there will be a Scholarship Awards Ceremony for the winners of the Poster, Ceramics and Chalk the Walk competitions.
