Nov 27, 2018 is the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of the Washita. Chief Black Kettle, who had survived the Sand Creek Massacre in Colorado only four years earlier, was killed in what is called a battle but was more accurately a massacre. This presentation is a remembrance of the life of Black Kettle and those who were killed along the Washita River.
