In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, Chicanx art experienced a transition from localized movements to the mainstream as the Mexican population exploded in the United States. This presentation addresses a reflection of Chicanx identity through visual art while considering social, cultural, and political issues from the 1980s through the early 2000s.
