Brentom Jackson, MS, LPC, Counselor, Tarrant County College, will speak on his mission is to make mental health and wellness practices culturally affirmative, accessible and affordable to communities and individuals that have the highest need.
Our second speaker, Dr. Tishara Jackson, School Intervention Counselor, The Keller Learning Center, New Direction HS, Keller DAEP will share her experience as a certified Professional School Counselor, Intervention Counselor, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor; and 20 years of educational experience spanning from early childhood education to post-secondary education. Dr. TJ focuses on providing direct and indirect services to adolescents and adults with substance use and associated behaviors using rational emotive behavioral therapy with a trauma-informed care lens.
