Monday, October 11, 2021 11am to 2pm
About this Event
2100 Southeast Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76018
Join us in celebrating National Coming Out Day!! Learn about the TCC Safe Space program, grab a personalized pronoun button, discover campus and community resources relevant to the LGBTQ+ community, meet members of the SE Campus Gay-Straight Alliance student organization, learn about the LGBTQ+ community, and so much more!
Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community is a special opportunity, and the process of “coming out” is arguably the most empowering and sacred moment for those who’ve had the ability to do so. Coming out whether it’s as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, or any other queer identity still matters. Beyond that, our stories can be powerful to each other. In honor of National Coming Out Day, join your fellow classmates and colleagues in a celebration of all who have come out as LGBTQ+, learn about opportunities to further support this community.
Sponsored by the Student Activities, TCC Southeast Gay-Straight Alliance, Judith J. Carrier Library, Counseling and Advising and Civic Engagement Committee.
