Cancelled: Making Day-to-Day Reality
TCC South Campus Fine Arts Department will be having a gallery exhibit Curated by Katerina Sokolovskaya that will be on display from March 6 through April 2. The show will be titled Making Day-to-Day Reality by Katerina Sokolovskaya.
Katerina Sokolovskaya was born in Minsk, Belarus, and now lives and works in Saint Petersburg, Russia She creates exhibitions based on artistic research focused on the topics of space perception and nonviolent coexistence of individuals in an environment. She studies at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University (Smolny College), graduated from St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design and studied at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland. Katerina co-curated artist-run space Agile gallery in Saint Petersburg (since 2018), an education artistic program "Spacing" in QuartaRiata Residence, Russia (2018).
As an independent curator, Katerina collaborates with various venues in St. Petersburg, including the National Centre for Contemporary Art, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, Museum of Theatrical and Musical Art.
The opening reception will be on March 6 from 6- 8pm in the SPAC Carillon Gallery.
