The Common Reader Program, in association with the Humanities and Communications Division, invites entries for its Arts and Essay Contest. The contest theme is Cooking, Culture, and Community.

We are interested in submissions that speak to the theme. Students may submit entries to Spanish essay, English essay, Poetry, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or Visual Arts. Winners will be selected from each category and receive scholarships to cover the costs of one 3 hour class.

Please submit JPEG, links to work, PDFs, Word Doc, or PNG files to Dr. Krista Rascoe, Dr. Carroll Savant, and Zainah Usman by March 13.
