In this workshop students will learn how to search for scholarships in areas that they may not have considered before and what goes into looking for scholarships. Presented by Joan Gomez-Ghannou

A student workshop based on the booklet, “How to Get Good Grades in College,” by Linda O’Brien. We will delve into the 10 steps that will help improve your academics. Prepare for lively conversation with education tips to add to your academic toolbox. Presented by Christopher Tovar

Time Management for Non-traditional College Students
Wednesday, September 15 | 5-6 p.m.

This is a workshop designed for non-traditional college students. This workshop will go over time management skills and other necessities to ensure you are a successful non-traditional student!

Thursday, September 16 | 1-2 p.m.

This workshop is all about student success! Students will learn five foundational habits of successful students.

The Importance of Networking, LinkedIn, and using Social Media Professionally
Friday, September 17 | 1-2 p.m.

In this workshop, you'll learn what you can do while you're at TCC to prepare for your next job, to transfer to a university, or to do whatever your next step may be. You'll also learn about networking, how to create and use a LinkedIn account, and how jobs will use your social media to gain information about you and why your posts are important.
