DESCRIPTION:The Summer Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS) is a collaboration
  between Tarrant County College and the UNT Health Science Center at Fort 
 Worth. The Academy will focus on the theme “Whole Health for A Whole Com
 munity” co-developed by faculty\, scientists\, and healthcare practition
 ers. The curriculum is customized for TCC science students to include inte
 ractive sessions in areas of Biomedical Sciences\, Health Professions\, Os
 teopathic Medicine\, Pharmacy\, and Public Health. \n\nThe Academy will be
  held July 9 - August 8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.
 m. Tuesday classes will be held at UNTHSC and Thursday classes will be hel
 d at the TCC Trinity River Campus.\n\nApplications are due May 10. Apply t
 oday!\n\nIncomplete applications will not be processed. Student essays and
  recommendation letters will be used as a factor in the selection process.
