Join us for a discussion of Vanguard: How Black Women Broke Barriers, Won the Vote, and Insisted on Equality for All by Martha S. Jones. TCC faculty member Stephanie Hawkins will lead a conversation on the progression of voting and other rights for African American women before and after the Nineteenth Amendment. Let's Talk About It: Women's Suffrage is a humanities discussion project from the American Library Association (ALA) supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
